Question flush mounted louvers??

I like the retro look of flush mounted louvers on the rear quarter windows. Has anyone done this, and how did it go?

Do a search for SHR Louvers and you should find a bunch of topics and pictures about them.

Yeah, like one thread that's a thousand posts long... 05FordGT started that thread if I remember right.

Anyways, yes I did my own (twice actually), and it's a piece of cake. The hardest part is removing the existing windows, that's a 2 beer project, but still easy enough that a first timer with a little patience and precautions can do without any damage.

Advice: ORDER THEM PRE-PAINTED. SHR'S EXPECTATION OF QUALITY EXCEEDS 90% OF THE BODYSHOPS YOU'LL FIND TO PAINT THEM.

Agent 47 mirrors purchased pre-painted for SHR The install is a breeze, anyone who can use a screwdriver can install them.

If you want quality paint, then get it done by them. The wheels are Konig Beyonds, I felt they had a great retro feel with a modern look... much like the new Mustang.

Thanks for all the kind words!
