Flush Mount 1/4 Louvers

Looking at the ones from American Muscle. Opinions on them and would you recommend them?
Thanks..

Googled them. Look like the SHR louvers to me.

I'd give my opinion on those, but if ya check my sig, you'll notice I might be a bit biased. There's a HUGE thread on them already

Seriously, every bit of info and opinion is probably already in that thread.

I read part of that thread but the American Muscle versions are only $149.00 shipped. It's that whole "Get what you paid for" thing. Just want to find out how the quality is.

If you're talking about these: http://www.americanmuscle.com/flush-...dow-vents.html

They ARE the SHR louvers. If the prices are lower at American Muscle then I'm guessing they must've bought enough to get a substantial volume discount... or something to that effect. I'm sure the quality is identical, but I doubt you'll get any better service than from Marcello at SHR directly. He's one of the most stand-up guys I'm met on the net.

Get them direct from SHR. Dont bother going with anyone else. And get them pre-painted. Smartest thing you'll ever do haha

Prepainted from SHR and if they you are not happy with color match Marcello will exchange them no questions asked. Now find a better pre-painted deal like online?

the thing is no one wants to sell them prepainted because some people want the whole thing painted and some want the slots so you can look out the back then to do that in all the 05, 06, 07, and soon 08 colors. That is the reason only SHR direct will sell them prepainted, PLUS they ask for a vin so they match the color to almost perfect (can not compensate for daily wear and tear of the factory paint)

Might as well go directly through SHR. Same price, and they get all the money. Might as well help a fellow member out. I ordered my prepainted ones a few days ago. Can't wait to get them in.

LOL thanks guys...

FYI A.M. is one of our dealers, and we are happy if you order from us or from them (although they are SUPPOSED to be stating the part is ours in their ad, I guess I need to get on them about that...) just so you know what you're buying.

And yes, we offer them pre-painted or unpainted, although pre-paint seems to be backing up lately here due to some issues at the painter - hoping to get that resolved soon and get them going back out for everyone ASAP.

Have a good weekend!

From the ad: "These new Flush-Mount Quarter Window Louvers from SilverHorse Racing fit your Mustang perfectly. SilverHorse Racing laser-scanned the glass which allowed the Louvers to fit just right. These are the only quarter window louvers that are designed for an OEM flush-mount fit."

<--- Opens mouth, inserts foot...

I guess that's what I get for not looking at the ad first FYI A.M. is our #2 dealer in the country right now, and we do have a good relationship with them.

Torch Red is currently on the "hot" list to be done, but like I said, we've been waiting for 2 weeks now for louvers to come back and haven't seen any... guess I need to make another trip down there early next week before everyone goes on vacation.
