After almost 4 months of having the hood on my dinningroom table, she's finally painted and installed..

The specialty fab/paint/body shop couldn't say enough good things about this hood. One of the best after market hoods they have ever worked on.. ..and they've worked on ALOT


With the 2010+ belly pan installed prior to the hood, I have zero hood shake that I can see.

 

Is that a 3"? With it being fiberglass, are you going to ever do pins? Also, how much heavier is it than stock?

 

 

As much as I love the hood, and i do love the hood, I love the spoiler delete even more. The two together are beyond perfect.

Agreed. I should have my holes filled and order a cowl. Maybe someday.

 

Thank you guys! I had to custom order her to get the Spoiler delete and have been trying to get this hood for 2 yrs now.. but something has always come up. Be it an unexpected bill or a better deal on some 'go fast' parts that I just had to have!

- I'm told it's the same hood as the Steeda Cowl and the BBR Cowl, just from the manufacturer. so some list the hood as 2.5" (Steeda) and others say it's a 3" (BBR). It's hard to say and there's a curve in our hoods so it's hard to measure.

- Zero hood shake so I don't have any plans to install pins. I think they take away from the 'flow' of the car.

- I believe it's with in acouple pounds. When we got it I was surprised how light it was, but was even more surprised when we took the OEM hood off.

Nope, not single, been with the same girl for 4 1/2 yrs now. ..just lucky that she's almost as into American muscle as I am!
