That looks like the Dream Car Factory hood. There is a thread on the Dream Car Factory in the High Perfomance section.

Sorry, but the California Dream Hood by RK Sport does not have the air extractors, but the inlets it does have are functional.

I really like the design of this hood. Best I've seen so far. If it were functional, and was sent ready to paint I just might have to have it. Too bad it's not, tho. Especially for that $.

Like $850 plus another $200 shipping. Waayy too much for what you get IMHO. I can get a Saleen take-off hood for $300 and let someone mock-it-up for less than that and it would be aluminum. Sheesh!

Are you basing the cost off of Ebay or have you talked to them personally?

"... a Saleen take-off hood", meaning the stock hoods removed by Saleen, as well as stock wheels, tires, bumpers, CAI, ect, ect, all are sold as take-offs.

They're talking about the RKSport California Dream hood. They are two different hoods.

You may want to look again. The Rksport california dream hood is taller and functional. This hood is flatter, has the extractor vents, and is nonfunctional. The height of the california dream hood is what turns me off from getting it.

Or the fact that everybody and their brother seems to be putting it on their mustang. I don't mean to be harsh but part of the reason I like the shelby look alike is because it has retained very similar characteristcs from the older shelby hood and it is a subtle yet aggressive mod.

But still ridiculously expensive!
