I must say...seeing them in person, they look way better than in pics.

I saw them just rim on a shelf, and they looked small.
Seeing them with rubber ON the car...they look stellar.

The centercap is awsome too. It sticks out 1/4 inch, and is 3D.
The pony has texture, its not just a pony with seal overtop to make it flat like the old centercaps.

And yes the pics don't bring the silver paint on the spokes out.
You have to almost be upclose to see it. Far away, you can't really tell.

They look sharp dano....

They are currently B/O by Ford till the middle/end of the month.

The only guy I know that has some is Kevin (05stangkc). PM him for pricing. The rims/tires are not a cheap setup but well worth the money IMO.

Now everyone don't all rush out.....let me be unique for a while now

No, its stock height. Only thing is I have two rims/tires in my trunk/backseat in the pic.

However, looking at the car with the new rims I could swear it looks lower than with the upgrade wheels. I'll take another set of pics without any additional weight in the trunk.

And thanks for the compliments guys

Dan, I must confess... it was me... I moved it without looking at the thread originator... But, you KNOW how I hate stuff in the wrong place... OCD to the max, LOL

BTW, LOVE THE CAR!!! Now, I gotta come visit you so I can get a look at that baby in person...

In fact, I think the TMS Mods/Admin need to get together and show off.

Thanks! But I did post it in the wrong location so you were right to move it I just knew there were a lot of people who wanted pictures of the blades so I put it in 05 for maximum exposure. I thought it was pretty funny that a super mod got caught

A meet would be great except it would probably take 2 days for all of us to get to a central location One day we definately have to. Maybe Detroit one year?

Thanks for the compliments JR

Dan, the extra weight actually does make a difference. Do you know how full your gas tank was?
I did a little experiment and a full tank lowered the rear of my car 1/4". The front didn't drop at all. So I'm sure all that weight took away the ugly rake our cars sometimes have.
I'd love to see the pics w/o the extra weight. Try to take them with a low fuel level. I think a lot of people will be surprised.

Will do. The gas tank was about 3/4 full at the time.

Looking good Dan

I love the look of the 05 with the blades

Had a family wedding last weekend, and my uncle (who is a Ford salesman) was snapping pics to show his 06 customers.

Definitely a head-turner!!

Enjoy the next few weeks... soon we won't be very unique any more

If you are all going to plan a meeting in the Detroit area (or southern Ontario), I'd love to attend! (unless it's a "mods-only" event of course )

Ryan, thanks for the compliment and the help again

There is a meet which will occur on August 27th near Waterloo, Ontario. Not sure if you'd be willing to drive that far but just letting you know. Many of us will be there. Check out the Canadian Forum for more info.

Yep I agree! Not going to wait on the Chrome Bullets now. That picture has sealed the deal for me. I know what I'm ordering on my 2006 now!

Tom, I'm not quite sure to be honest.

Thanks, but the Frau didn't care for those Fanblades so I just picked up a nice set of 18 x 9 CRAGAR S/S's last night.

Right now I'm trying to figure out what size tires to run with.

I'm looking to run different diameters (between front and back), but not sure if it's safe or if it would cause any issues. Trying to "EVEN" out the wheel-well gaps so it looks the same. Maybe 255/45's in front and 275/55's in back. Don't know yet, still looking for opinions and working with the "Tire Calculators".
