I believe you can buy the real thing for less? Discount tire had them for the '04 GT & Mach, but they are not available yet for the '05.....at least they aren't listed on their web.

Try this: Ronaele Mustang

or this: JME Enterprises

or this: Trigo Wheels

even this: Verde Wheels

another: MR1

another: ACIII

one more: Cobra III

Most don't fit the '05...yet. Some sound promising, most sound expensive. Ever consider Halibrands? Hmmm.... never occurred to me.

Doesn't the MRT Interceptor have the Cobra 427 style wheels? Only those are 20s and the ones one the old Cobra were a lot smaller. I'd like to see the Interceptors wheels offered in sizes other than 20" preferably 17/18... I like seeing rubber too.

According to the MRT site the 20s are $650 each.

The stock V-6s wheels look alot like these, which is why I am going to keep them on mine after a while of debating on new wheels.
I like the halibrands alot

There's a company making 17" Halibrand style for the '05. They're a copy of the V6 16's. Too bad they don't make 18's. They'd sell a LOT of those.

Do you have a link or name of the company so we can check it out, maybe we could write letters and get the 18 inchers built, they would sell like hotcakes if they were reasonably priced.

Several of us have already tried. The guy that answers the phone and emails is pretty rude.
Give me a few minutes. I'll try to find it... Now I just have to remember the name of the company. I'll try a search with Halibrand and my screen name.

Found it.

Even though it only list 99-04, in the application chart is has the correct offset for the '05. They come in 16x8 with 15 & 45mm offsets as well as 17x9's with 24 & 45mm offsets. They should either be available by now or REAL close.

Hey guys, don't know if you've seen my other posts but I'm going to do the chrome halibrands in 18x9 chrome, should have them tomorrow. I'll post pics as soon as i can. the offset on these are +34mm so we'll see how they do as far as lining up with the fenderwell...

Has anyone seen these? Halibrands
(The second ones on the page.) Ronaele has these on their website, and I'm a bit skeptical, as in "too good to be true"? These wheels are awesome, looking just like the original Halibrands, except for the lug nuts. These look just like the reproductions they make for 427 Cobra kit cars, including a beautiful deep chrome lip! Add to that an 18x9 size, and if you click on the wheel, it says "fits all 2005 Mustangs". Is it just me, or is it hard to believe that that deep dish will fit an '05? And for only $280! Spinners are a bit steep ($85 apiece), but WOW, what a look! Put these on my Sonic blue with white LeMans stripes, and that will be as close to a Cobra as I'll ever get. :worship:

These would be my 18x9 Chrome Halibrands with Dunlop SP9000's. They're for sale if anyone is interested. Have maybe 150 miles on them at most. Spinners are on backorder but will be in the next couple of weeks.

Looks awesome! But I'd have to go with the deep dish rims. I like a little depth to wheels.
