I like the taillights. But the rest just make the rear end look fat.

I think the photo makes the rearend look bigger than it is. It definately looks like they used a 67 shelby back panel and maybe the mustangproject.com taillights. I don't like the reverse lights though

this had potential to look awesome, but i think they failed misrably.
the back is too bulky and the stripes are way off (check where the fake gas cap is!!)

I think it's the angle when they took the picture, 'cause it looks like it's not lined up on the ducktail or the bumper, but that's almost impossible because the lights are installed proportionally to the space, so the fake gas cap has to be in the center.
Also, remember the Saleen rear extends quite a bit more than our bumpers...

Those lights are sequential! And they can be found on ebay... at $500+!!!!

Lot of work to make this rear end happen I'm sure, too bad they didn't use the regular GT rear, or even the Cervinis...

Those lights are sequential thought, right? Do you have any more pictures?

Can you get in contact with this guy and have him post up here or something? I'd like to find out more about this conversion and how tough it was.

K i meet the guy and make my own picture of the cars and ask him how did he do that.

After seen that in real i understand the choice of this bumper/spoiler. Those things are huge, peharps in the last picture you could see it with the badge in background. If you put them on a regular gt you will have a new set of bumper to bump while in reverse.

He made it by himself. Made the plastic stuff around for fitment and it's REAL 67 Shelby light. He's actually doing some modification to the fitment. for other car to use is work.

Yes ... yes, indeed. The G.T.50% is a real car. 'Why' is a valid question.

Beyond that, I'm hoping for someone out there to do a modern version of the old Shelby tail lights for our cars - haven't seen anything yet that I would actually put on my car, but it looks like some are trying.

Cheers

Hah, that GT 50% is hilarious. You'd never catch me in one, but I would laugh my butt off if I ever saw one.
