Thanks. But please get it painted right the first time. Evidently the guy I took it to the first time didn't put any flex agent? in the paint and it actually began to flake off. I finally got it on perfectlyand didn't want to remove it to have it repainted so I took it to a reputable body shop and spent over $400.00 to get it painted right. You can save by having it painted off the car and then install. Also make sure all the tape is secured, this spoiler will try to expand in the heat and sun if its allowed to. Good Luck. I really like it better since I put the stripes on it. I did the spoiler last and it wasn't as bad as I thought.

I went with the Street Scenes ducktail for a couple reasons. I didn't want to have to deal with replacing the 3rd brakelight and the spoiler itself has a bit more of an angle than the CDC, it looks (IMO) a little more aggressive. It does not cover the holes in the trunk lid if you have any.

so here are the pics including an old one before I got the stripes.

Cool thanks, so you didn't drill any holes and only used 3m tape for install?

No I had to drill 4 new holes in trunk lid and 2 holes in each side of rear quarter panel for the 2 smaller pieces. If I did it again I would still drill the 4 in the trunk lid because it has 4 already, right. What's 4 more. But I would try to attach the 2 smaller side pieces without drilling. These didn't require pushing and shoving to fit lit the long trunk lid piece did.

BTW

Habu your car rocks. Looks fantastic with the stripes. I would consider maikng them painted.

I think I might be back in the ducktail market. It's kinda like a scaled down Cervini's spoiler mixed with the SSE. Have any other photo's?

Hey there,

I will see if I can find some other pictures in the morning when I am back in the office. The pictures in that post are thumbnails - you can click on them to see an enlarged version - if that helps any.

Thanks

Are you guys going to offer one with the taillight covered? If so, do you feel like sponsoring one on a black car in Minnesota?

Seriously - I'm torn between all these ducktail options and can't decide which way I want to go.

Not bad but definitely not my cup of tea. I think it looks better when the 3rd brake light disappears.

Congrats man. Welcome to the ducktail club. Least we know the cars rear end will be stuck to the road at 145+mph right.

Hey there,

Unfortunatly, thats not going to happen here. Spoke with the guys that designed the parts. This was originally in the plan and after doing some research, it was determined that by law, you are not allowed to relocate the 3rd brake light from its OEM location (even though there are those that do).

Another needless law from Washington. As long as you still have it, WTF Washington.

Hi Page,

I thought one could do 'whatever' modifications to their cars in the US without any problems (despite CA)?

Are you 100% positive? Or is this just for one state?
