I have a V-6 05 stang and was wondering if anyone else likes these rims with the tires they come with or is it best to not buy online? http://www.custom-wheels-car-rims.com/Stor...&ShowLarge=True

I personally don't like them. Did it say these go on the '05? They are FWD wheels. Just curious

Yeah. They look like they belong on an Escalade more than a Mustang in my opinion. A bit too "blingy" for my taste.

But hey, opinions are like a-holes - everybody's got one.

This is one of those group of wheels that I don't really like from looking at them off the car but may look good on the car. They aren't my type of wheel but again, everybody has different taste and that's what will make your car at leat a LITTLE unique.

I think they are sweet.. I still like the factory rims with the spinners. If I was debating about rims I would keep the factory rims and put tthat money into performance.

It is all in what you like, who cares what anybody else thinks. If you like the rims go for it.

I took a look at those. I spoke to one of the wheel companys believe it was www.wheelguyz.com, but dont hold me to that.

they told me the hub on that particular rim is smaller than the stang hub and for the rim to fit, it would have to be machined bigger. check into that before you buy em.

good luck

Sam

That's what our cars are supposed to have on them. The FWD wheels have a higher offset than RWD wheels. RWD wheels WILL stick out farther than the stock wheels no matter what anyone says.

I like the wheels. They look 1000 times better than some of the ghetto wheels people are putting on the '05. They look tougher and more musclecar. Check what sizes are available though. I only saw 7.5's and going to a wheel that was narrower than stock wouldn't make much sense, IMO.

EDIT: I didn't realize we were talking about a V6. How wide are the stock wheels?

Well I would have to say that I do like those rims on the stang from that pic! I think i might be ordering them, as long as the company says they will work fine, etc. Thanks for the photochop!

keep in mind that the factory wheels are 17's with a tall tire so if you go with those in a 17 with a 205/40 or 225/40 that they offer in the package then they will not fill up the fender, it will add more fender gap and look bad

in that chop i would have to say those are closer to what 20's would look like and not 17's
