Dipped 2008 tail lights

One tip I can share is don't use OLD masking tape... It leaves goo on the plastic and now after it dries I'm gonna have to scrub it off. Name: 6F723CCE-FB66-4D92-AA93-ACA9C3E6DEC0_zpsjponkfs8.jpg

Nice little in-expensive mod to break up the look of the rear light.

Great job!

That little touch makes ton of difference. I had my lenses lightly tinted and the outlines done, really makes the rear i.m.o.

Just bought my GT in October 2014... Didn't see this post until today. My car came with the chrome bezels around the tails... So I thought about Plasti-Dip instead of paint in case I ever wanted to change the light bezels back to chrome. I didn't tape off the lights--just sprayed over them. Used a toothpick to break the tension of the dip on the lens, and slowly peeled it off. Also had a razor knife ready in case the dip stuck to anything it shouldn't have. The dip is a semi-flat sheen, and it matches the honeycomb panel in between the lights!

This looks pretty good! They should've done this from the factory.
