Ding Guard Removal?
First off, long time lurker, first post.
My question, I just purchased an 05 Mustang and it had the door ding protector you see on some mustangs below the door handle runing vertically. Is there any way to remove this? I didn't really ask before i bought it, and afterwards the dealership didn't really "want" to remove it for me.
Should i pursue a body shop that can remove it, or does anyone here have any tips as to how i can get it off myself. I'm not doing anything till i have some background as to whats used to hold it on. I have removed molding before on my 95 cobra, but it was used and i felt a little better about it. The 05 is new and i'm afraid to breath on it basicly! LOL!
Thanks for any help in advance.

Nm, i got it.
I used the same method some had suggested here for emblem removal.. a bit of fishing line just to get the end loose, then after checking to make sure there was paint under the molding i just gradually pulled it away in about 5 inch strips.
I know someone else will be looking to do this in the future so if anyone needs any help, just shoot me an email.
Peace!
