Different clear front turn signal lens

I love the looks of these clear turn signals but could someone clear up some questions i have about them?
Why are they illegal in some places and does anyone know about in Georgia?
Also, after you buy the lenses i understand you have to buy the bulbs. Are the bulbs colored or something to keep the light the same color?

First, they are not illegal. What is required by Federal Laws, is Amber lighting. You can use your existing bulbs, as with the clear lenses they diffuse the brightness, and you could get away with it. Unless of course, your stopped at night for something else, and the officer decides to write every violation he finds. The safe bet, just buy the Stealth bulbs. A little pricey, but it does the job, No gaudy look during the day, and amber at night. That's what I did and the look is 100% better than stock. IMO.

Just got mine, will be installing them this week. will post some pix soon.
Doing both the front turn signals and side markers.
got mine through Muscle Mustang, they ran $100 for the turn signals and $45 for the side markers.

No-one probably - I get all my stuff shipped to my cousin in Arlington VA, then he sends it on to me via surface carrier. Not too expensive postage-wise. On some items it works out cheaper than buying from European distributors...
