I just talked to a dealer who had the exact GT I was looking for with the exception that it has a spoiler. I told him I wanted to do the spolier delete so it would be easier to add on a ducktail. His response was that he went to the SEMA show and he should be able to do that as it's in some accessories book he has. From all the reading I have done here, I didn't even think the ducktails were available. Anyone have any insight on what this dealer could be talking about.

He may know what he's talking about.....but as far as the install of the ducktail on a car that has the factory spoiler removed, it will probably take (1) paint & bodywork to patch the pre-existing holes, or (2) order a new trunk lid. B) This is pure speculation on my part as far as what's involved, but if you don't want the factory spoiler, you're probably best off to order a car with spoiler deleted IMO. I don't think any dealer is going to do this mod for you unless you sign a purchase contract in advance.....

Order a spoiler delete.

No one is actively marketing a ducktail yet, but when they do, you do not necissarily have to let the dealer install it.

Take it to a good bodyshop, let them match the paint code and spray it and then let them install it. Simple as that.

There's a Latin phrase that says, "If one is false, All is False."
He's lying about the ducktail being in his some accessory books, so he's lying about everything else.
Don't buy from this guy if you can help it.
