Dark Grey SS Stripe
Dark Grey SS Stripe
Well, I've stepped in it. Went ahead and pulled the trigger on a set of dark grey super snake style stripes a la BSM. Since I'm unemployed at the moment and have little better to do, I'm planning to photograph and document ever inch of the installation since I'll be doing it myself. Enyo is finally going to stand out in the crowd.
Just the first in a long line of planned mods.

enyo, looking forward to the pics. when you say dark gray, is that like a tungsten gray or even darker than that? i was thinking of putting dark stripes on my alloy gray later on, but still undecided.

Ordered from BSM and the color in question is number 3. Already got the e-mail stating it will be shipped, blah, blah, blah... It should go out tomorrow and I should be the proud owner of a striped pony this time next week. Pictures and a complete write up of the experience will be posted.
I can't wait to see your pics with this dark gray SS stripe
because i am thinkig to order stripes in dark grey n° 3 too on my black 4.0...
My other choice was n° 20 slate metallic which is close to tungsten gray

A heads up guys.. watch the area around the rear license plate area.... a couple people have run into issues there. Make sure you set it up for the outside line of the stripe, then work the stripe flat toward the plate area.
Boss style stripe packages with about 20 options are coming in the next couple weeks. Also being designed are a plethora of other graphics pieces.
ALSO on the new 10" and 12" stripes, they have been modified per requests to get closer on the third brakelight.... you'll have just a biut of overhang around the light... let it dry, then wrap em inward. With the new design, you won't see the paint around the brakelight anymore. This has confused a couple people, who thought they had to trim around it.

looking good
it seems a lot lighter than in the sample and in your hallway. hmm.... i guess it is because of the sunlight... but yeah, looks sharp. i cannot believe you did that yourself. i know i would have had a million bubbles under the stripes.
