Dallas Mustang Heat Extractor Hood (56k Warning)

Here are some pics Dallas Mustang sent me on their heat extractor hood.
I think I am going with option 3 on my previous thread

Is that fiberglass, aluminum, or carbon fiber?

I'd like to see it without the stripes before I make a formal statement. Looks good from what I can tell, but I'd like to see it plain, '03-'04 Cobra style.

Looks like it's $700 unpainted:

Also it's 50 lbs, anyone know how much the stock hood weighs?

Their website doesn't say but is it functional?

reminds me of my 68 I had.

Has anyone come up with a scooped hood that will dump cold air right over our CAI area/heat sheild area?

That looks like the Boy Racer hood. If it is, I believe it doesn't fit the V6 and some blowers

Well, DM does not have the ridge in the middle like Boy Racer. The DM one is listed as metal too.
I tried to merge two photo's side by side. I am not very good at it but, you get the idea.

Where does it say it's metal ?

The pt# GHF - xxx = Good Hood Ford

Good Hood = Keystone = Boy Racer Hood

I think the sheetmetal confusion comes from it being under sheetmetal on DM website.

I would agree with that. I also think it should be the new hood for my Mustang I'm not very fond of the fake hood scoop that Ford came up with.

I think the 3D carbon is a way better design. Especially the stripes.
