Cutting the GT/CS front bumper....
While doing my Bullitt rendering I started to wonder if you can cut and modify the gt/cs front bumper to accept fog lights like the GT500. Does anyone know if this can be done so it doesn't crack under stress?
I put the Bullitt concept back to black to show what it would look like for my car.

You don't need to. http://www.shelbyautos.com/ShowDetail.asp?id=44

Just get this kit and you have the shelby lower fogs.
Photoshop I did of a GT/CS with them.

I don't think that's the look he's going for.
You could cut into the bumper, and it'd be fine. However, it would not look right. It would not have a recess, and almost all fog lights are in a recess, nor a way to mount them properly. But for photoshop, sure, why not
Looks good so far

Personally, I don't like the red photoshop. the black photoshop looks nice at that angle, and I kind of like the one with the white photoshop (the one with Shelbyauto's fogs). Maybe if the red car had the GT/CS bumper, it would look better (b/c it would look like the first post)
Well I did this to the white GT/CS and then it screamed "Roush" at me. I guess this is why I've always like the Roush front-end. Too bad the roush frontend is over $800. I may go the with th GT/CS front and the Shelby kit. Thanks!
No way. That looks way better than the Roush. I loved the sn95 (99-04)roush kit, but the S197 Roush kit looks terrible IMHO. It completely ruins the lines and theme of the S197.
