This summer, Ford Racing Performance Parts will offer 10" wide Le Mans stripe packages for '05 Mustang. They will be available in Black, Blue and Silver, and with either plain rocker panel stripes or Ford Racing logo stripes.

Why change? Your current setup looks great. Are these any different then what you have. Excuse my ignorence, but what is the difference between these stripes and what everyone else is getting (other than vinyl vs. paint, or width and gap). I'm thinking about getting striped, but hesitant to pull the trigger. Would these be the style to get?

Well the reason I think I am going to change is in my area my car has been starting a trend. Most of the FORD dealerships are now putting the lemans stripes on their cars. Mind you, so far nobody has attempted the bumpers and they are using the 8" kit from FORD. Now that they 10" kit is available I am sure a lot of cars will start to look more like mine and I do want mine to be different. Well, at least in my area.

Same here. The dealers are all putting the stripes on , and it is mor erare to see a new 2005 mustang WITHOUT them............way to common IMO

Looking to add some stripes, just ne to figure out what color.... maybe silver. Then do I want to paint or vinyl the stripes. I know that the vinyl will save me a bunch of money, but the painted option looks so clean.

Im thinking silver on my sonic blue. Going to go the vinyl route. Sliver would look great on black as well. I just need to find a decent shop in the Hampton Roads area to do the work.
