Thanks! I think it makes the car look so much better. That orange color just stuck out like a sore thumb on my silver car.

I like the look of the clears, I think it'll look great on my legend lime when it finally gets here.

 

so is all this just photoshop or actual replacement of the originals and putting darker ones?

 

Mine is for real, so is Donna's. She bought the same ones as I did. I bought the corner light film from a guy selling a whole kit (for all the lights) on eBay. I emailed him and asked if I could just buy the corner light part and he sold them to me for $20, or something close to that.

 

I saw a car with clear turn signals at the St. Louis Ford Nationals. It looked great. I've been waiting myself for one to come out. Based on this thread, I may tint mine until the clears are available.

 

So the clear side markers are going to be on a production car. That would make my decision a lot easier.

 

The light film is cheap and gives the car a nice look. When the replacement lights do come out, I'll decide on what to do then.

 

or you guys could just make your own....they sell kits to mold a part then made one as well...

The 3dcarbon car has clear turn signals, and the bumper cover uses factory lenses.

I didn't. That was swingle's car that I photoshopped the lenses to answer his question on how it would look.

 

It'd be totally groovy if you could post a link to his ebay name/store/item or whatever because I can't seem to track these down.

I haven't gotten my black 05 gt yet, suposed to be next week or the next But i think with what i eventually plan to do the black look is what i wanna do for those turn signals.

Just wondering if all i need to do is buy some tint and cut it to fit or do i realy neeed to buy the kit form someone like the ebay guy?

if any one finds the clears or how i could clear it that might look good on the black too. any thing but the amber, doesnt match my color plan, red, black, silver... not amber
