clear rear side markers...ricey?

well since due to a verbal majority vote we have concluded the front turn signals being clear is not ricey (60's stangs have them) what about the rear sides?

i ask because i found a ebay auction for the set of 4 (front turn and side rear) for a good price.

but i cant quite decide

One the right color of they look good. I say light colors IMO but I simply laid some honeycomb decals over my original lenses and they look factory.

That sounds pretty slick. Can you give us some details? Perhaps a pic or two?

I have rear clears on mine.....I don't think they're ricey at all. Although, now that my taillights are tinted, I should probably tint the rear markers as well....

I thought about this mod as well... decided against the clear "rear" marker lamps on a black car. I think the red looks just fine.

Now on a silver or white car... the clears IMO would DEFINITELY be an improvement.

Either way, NO RICE.

+1 for the clear look great on a white.

Me, I like the red in the back...it brings out the red of my calipers. As to the front turns, I like the factory amber. They go good with the Amber ShowLens...

I also agree that it depends on the color of the car. The lighter colors with the clear lenses do look good.

Agree - On some colors like black, I think they look real good. I have a Mineral Grey and since the paint has a gold/bronze tint, especially in the sunlight, I think the amber looks better

I like the clear but I think a smoke color looks better.

I had the clear side markers on my black car and they stuck out like a sore thumb. Put the red back on 'cause it blends in better. I'm sure on white or silver they look great.

What do you mean smoked? Like a tint? That might look pretty sweet on a Tungsten, probably not on a LL though
