no i have not tried removing them, i took off the cover and thye can be removed by heating up the glue. I left them in becuase i think they look fine and one less thing for the MAN to hassle me about. Yes they are APC

My black housing units showed up last night. They appear to be very well made, and have no reflectors of any kind on the inside. The black on the inside is a flat finish, and the lens itself is clear. I also have the mirror/chrome bulbs to go with them (but got them off eBay for $24 shipped, not from stealthbulbs.com for $60 ) One thing I did notice is that the lens is very easily scratched/scuffed. I'm going to put a layer of tint on there before I mount 'em on the car. It won't be a drastic tint, mainly to protect the lens itself. Oh they do have DOT on them

I wish I saw this before I ordered the ones with the amber reflector. Oh well. Buyers remorse isn't worth it - literally.

I know what you mean Bingo about buyer's remorse. I hated the amber reflector ever since I cracked open the box from Jegs.

But... thanks to SurfnSoCal, I got me a set of all clears!!

I am SOOOO glad that I got rid of my "mostly" clears... they are now in their new home in a cabinet in the garage. Good riddance.

BEFORE... and AFTER...
