Hey man - those are Street Scene Gen 1 window louvers

I loved the Cal Dream Hood (this was my old Stang) - some people don't like that it had a bit of a rise (cowl) at the rear but it was not that high and on BLACK the hood just blends perfectly with the car. I had to pin mine due to hood shake on really windy days at 80mph + but it was sweet. Really made the look of the car.

I like them both but I chose the classic because I was lowering mine at the same time and I'm glad I did because I would be hitting all the time if I went with the aggressive, also from the online instructions if you go with the aggressive you will have to remove your lower grill, with the classic you don't.

I'd say go with classic. Aggressive pops out a bit much for my tastes. I ordered mine unpainted and had it painted locally for $80 prior to me installing it. Install is extremely easy.

Anthony - the one on the black 05 I had painted by none other than Jay Tucker from JLT (back when he was still doing painting and I drop shipped the piece to him - he did a great job)

The one I have on the 06 I had painted locally - a friend of my brothers. He did a good job - can't remember is name but he is in Lauderdale close to the airport..... (I can track down a phone number but it seems like a haul from Miami)

When I ordered mine, painted meant flat black. My painter said it acted as a good primer. I paid $100 to have mine painted and striped.

Off topic, sorry..

Withiinavoid....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post or email me some pics of your ride. Your car was the inspiration for my purchase (I had a pic of your car as my desktop until I got mine. I WISH I could get the window tint to complete the look, but here in NC 35% is the law). I'm now considering a cdc chin spoiler, and would love to see what it looks like on your/my car.

TIA

I opted for the Classic... it's low enough. Bought the unpainted CDC and had a body shop paint match. They added multi-layers of base and clearcoat. Stripes and ClearBra added after cure.

Classic IMO. Like withinavoid said, aggressive pops out too much.

Hey fellow TGR! What kind of hood pins you have? I'll be looking for a pair myself soon. Are you happy with yours?
