Does anyone know where to get these chrome tail light inserts in this picture? Didn't see them anywhere on the host site (Baltimore Street Mods). They remind of my old 1967 Mustang rear end. I know some people may think they don't go with the new stang since there is not a lot of chrome like the old stang's had but I like them.

Yeah, for me personally . But if you like 'em - look on eBay. I've seen lots of links to them there.

Yep, eBay. Those are just the chrome tape strips wrapped around the tailights.

Look at these though, it's a one piece stainless steel bezel.

dont do ebay....save yourself some money and go to pepboys or autozone or kraigen or whatever and buy the same thing for $12 its the wheel well molding for trucks, it fits perfectly around the lights but has a small gap on the center lines, easy to do and sticks on, you will have plenty of left overs, did it myself, doesnt look OEM so I took it off, but it looks good.

Maybe I should come out of retirement and purchase a low powered laser and start cutting these things out. The material looks to be the same as some dash inserts. That guy in KY sure made a killing selling kits on E bay that were no more than trim. Goes to show YA some bears are smarter than other ones.

I put some black trim in my tail light channels a few days ago. Its a subtle enhancement that adds a more retro look for the tail lights, IMO, best of all its cheap.

As rrobello stated I just used some 3/8" wheel well molding from a local parts store, its fits in the channel perfectly. Its got 3M double sided tape on the back so it sticks and stays stuck. 20' roll for 13 bucks.

<-------- Click my Gallery for a close up pic of tail light.

P.S. - You can get molding in chrome as well, just not to my taste.

Thanks everyone for the help. I found out the black GT in the pic I posted was done with the chrome wheel well molding. Looks good to me and a lot cheaper than what's on ebay. I'll give this a try in two months when I hopefully get my hands on my new stang.

Actually, Atlanta Auto Accessories has the chrome covers for the tail lights and they are metal not tape......

I don't think anyone has spent more money on this mod then me. I got two sets of the wheel molding from the dude from E-bay. One set from Autozone and thanks to this topic I ordered the ones from Atlanta Auto Accessories. It's about time, a one piece set!!

Thats my boy Drizztbob's Stang. I've seen those in person and I'm not a fan of them. They look good in the pic and on Black they stand out. I'm know they wouldn't look good on my Satin Silver. The stripe job on his car looks great though. The guy at Baltimore Street Mods took a lot of time to get the right cuts for a tight OEM fit.

I figure I'll get the wheel well molding since it's cheap and I can see how it looks on windveil blue. If it's ugly then its only $15 or less wasted. If I like it I'll get the steel bezels for $50.

I've been chatting recently with Robert from Baltimore Street Mods about his 10in shelby stripe kit. He seems like a good guy and I'll be ording a kit from him soon. I just hope I'll have the patience to install the stripes myself!

I carefully installed the chrome trim on mine I purchased at Auto Zone for 10 bucks. Stepped back and took a look. Not me so I took it off and threw it in the trash. OH WELL!

I did the same but not because I didnt like the chrome look, I do, but because it looked like a job that someone with a ricer would do, I want my car to look like everything on it was suppose to be there and it came that way, I spent well over an hour doing that job getting it perfect so there were no lines, but you could still tell it was wheel well molding and that buged me
