chrome "mustang" lettering?

i was wondering if there is an aftermarket kit with chrome "mustang" lettering, i've called local scrap dealers to see if anyone had a old mustang hood with the lettering on it without any luck, but since shelby has their own lettering i figured someone must have made a kit

anyone got any leads

this was posted earlier in the forums, shows the lettering im looking for

I've seen a few "duck tail" spoilers on here with exactly what you want. Are you also looking to put "F O R D" on the hood? I have a friend in Kenosha, WI who has the letters on the hood, so they're out there.

Try a search on here for "lettering" or "duck tail".

Is this what your looking for?

I got mine from CJ Pony parts. If your looking to add these to an 05 - 08, then you don't want the originals as they require drilling. I bought the stick ons (come with double sided tape already attached) These can also be used on the early cars without the drilling as well.

That's pretty cool as you can type and then preview your letters. IMO, too modern for our retro Stangs.

We have what you are looking for here, and in stock. Mustang stick on letters, classic style. Scott Drake also offers the Ford letters in either 64-66 style, or 67 style, but they have mounting pins and will require modification, if you are interested in those, send me a PM or give me a call and i can special order them. Thanks!

thanks for your link, those are the exact ones I wanted, and I'm especially thankful they are stick on, I'd hate to put any holes in the car, I'm placing the order right after I send this

I had a bad experience ordering rocker stripes offline so I'm in the market for a website to buy from, maybe this'll be it

I just ordered the stick on type from them. Let's see how fast they ship! They look like a good place to get parts. Their parts prices aren't too high.

Mine are the Scott Drake stick ons(post #10)as well and I absolutely love the look and were very easy to install! The car has always been hand washed and hand dried(three times since installing the letters)and they don't want to budge

you know I think theyd look best on the ducktail personally, I'd love to post pics on here as soon as I get them, I ordered them last night along with a muffler tip, lets hope my experience with them is better than it was with bobwhites decals

I was gonna say though, you might not want to wait as I'm gonna have to hold onto the letters even after they get here, I go to the field for three weeks starting saturday and I'm getting racing stripes put on right after, youd probably be best looking at stngfever's

but pictures will come eventually

Of course they will. Here's my wife's V6 with a Ford Shelby GT500 spoiler. The pic is kind of dark but hey, you get the idea....
