I just finally bought it, MustangTuning.com, free shipping! I was amazed they shipped it FREE and its oversized piece, and most co. charge $60 for shipping on oversize pieces. Very Very Pleased with them, I called around dealers in NJ and they either said I'd have to pay $60 oversize shipping charge or drive out there to pick it up!

MustangTuning.com is the way to go for the chin spoiler!

Can't wait, it'll be here Monday!

I couldn't help but post a pic of my car showing the chin spoiler too. It's at roughly the same angle as Dave's. Man, our cars are gonna look sweet together come September. Especially when I have my mods all done.

Bro I CAN'T wait!

And the drive UP looks to be shaping up nicely so far (even so early) - we'll get the timing down too as we plan - I'm sure Dave/MTAS is with me and we'll leave earlier if we have to to make the schedule work.....

We are gonna have a caravan of Stangs.....

My CDC Classic Chin spoiler is in the mail.
Everyones looked so good that I had to have one for myself.
I kept mine the matt black finish and hope it looks as good as all of yours.
I'll add pictures after the install.

So far I have two other stangs besides me from Louisiana locked in... both S-197 GT's. And it's still really early.

Okay....maybe I'm confused, but will the CDC Classic Chin Spoiler fit on the 2005 V6 mustangs? I thought the V6 mustang chin spoilers were different!!

I plan to use the new Fang one. To me it has more of the "Classic" Mach 1 look to it!! Just My $0.02

CDC has a Chin spoiler for the GT and the V6. They are different.
check the link in the first post and go back to the Chin spoilers on CDC and you will see them.

when you order it you have to specifiy black plastic or unpainted. unpainted comes pink. i like the cdc more, it has those molded lines that line up with the lower grill.

You guys wore me down...I've been resisting ordering the CDC Classic for a couple weeks. This thread was the final straw....Just placed my order with Mustang Tuning...

So........Yes or No, will the CDC Classic fit the 2005 V6 Mustangs? If so, are there any issues?

The V6 one fits the V6, unless of course you change to a GT front facia.

Exactly what Kevin said. But if you dont want to change to the GT front, i would consider the fang performance one for the V6. I like the look of their V6 one alot better than that of the CDC one.

I'm leaning towards the Fang chin spoiler myself. I like CDC's quality, but wish they made both their ducktail and V6 chin spoiler a little "beefier" looking. Tough choice though for an $90 difference.

Can you get the CDC chin spoiler painted gloss black not matte black?

I got a question... how come CDC offers a painted ducktail spoiler but not a painted chin spoiler? I really like how convenient it was to order my ducktail spoiler painted and install it right away without having to take it anywhere.
