The guy said he would post a new forum topic when he gets the pricing and avalibilty set in stone. B/C so many people were getting aggrevated with him not releasing any info on the grill, including me!

RPM outlet has the grill we are all looking for on their "test car"
I E-mailed them to find out if they had any plans on selling it.
They told me it was a one off and the guy that made it had no plans on making any more. I have E-mailed them back to see if I can talk to the guy and see if he would give me some insight how it was made.

Does anyone know of another Grill that has the same honeycomb? They have to be getting this from something that's all ready out there.

Uh oh. Here we go again. More secrets. Just what this subject needs.

On a side note, CDC claimed they were looking into making one, but after the last email I got from them, I'm sure it's going to be nothing more than a cheap "Home Depot" grille like all the other aftermarket grilles out there. (I won't mention any names )

Yea, I got a message from that same little birdie, with a probable price range and possible time to release. Now waiting to see how close the birdies info is to fact.

Look closer at mine. Instead of a brain it is a blower

Or Turbo

Well, I'm glad to hear something MAY be happening with this. I think my main problem with the alternatives out there, is that in the end they look no better than this grille that was home-made.

That's Askiles (Andy's) car. He did a good job on it, and just needed to finish the fogs with bezels. Don't know if he ever finished it though, he sold it and bought an 04' Cobra.

Great description, Tony. I agree 100%. The material most of these companies are using is just metal grading, a.k. expanded metal. This is material you pick up at a steel yard or Home Depot, as I mentioned above. That's the way one of the Barrett-Jackson described the exact same material in one of the "cheap" tuner cars they sold the first night of the auction.
I'm amazed that not not only would someone put such a low quality item on a new Mustang, but that they'd actually pay money for it.

The fogs on the black car in that pic are too close together IMO. And it needs and emblem there to finish it out.

I agree ! A nice tri bar pony would look great in the lower left side like Shelby did in '65.

Couldn't have said it better myself Tom. That's what I'm planning on, whenever this mystery grill is released to the public.

That is the Street Scene grille. We know it very well. Not what we are looking for in this topic. Sorry.
