cdc shaker scoop drainage tube question
cdc shaker scoop drainage tube question
tried searching, but i guess i am not good at using the correct key words.
i had a question about the drainage tubes that come with the cdc shaker scoop. i have an 07 gt. 3 of the tubes i am semi-satisfied with their location. i am a bit concerned about the driver's side front tube. i can't find a good place for it. it seems either the water will go all over the belts and/or electrical stuff or the other choice is to have it dump on the header.
i was wondering what solution others here have found. thank you in advance for any help.

Buy more tube and route it where you'll be happy. I just bought a bunch of it from Ace and used plenty of tie wraps and routed it to drain away from everything else. I'd take a picture, but it's pathetically dirty and I'm too embarrassed to show my engine bay.
i think i may have to end up doing that.
didn't seem like many people were having to do that (or at least weren't mentioning it).... that is why i was wondering where they ended up placing the supplied hose. thanks for replying btw.

thanks for the reply. what is directly under where your hose ends?
i am going to try and incorporate that type of weatherstripping you got around the scoop.
i took my car to a drive in car wash today and my turbo pipes got a bit wet from the excess water.
is that some sort of special weatherstripping you have? or is it the type from the hardware store? thanks again.
