Check out the CDC site - the Shaker is now available. They sent me an email today and I requested some pics...

It will probably be a while before I order - when are you planning on ordering?

Is it me or is it too small for the hood? I think it looks very tiny...

Yes it has ducting and routes it to the airbox. They have a pic on their site with it hooked up to supercharger. I'm planning on trying to make it fit some aftermarket intake system. As far is it looking too small I think it has more to do with the type stripes on the car in the pics. The single stripe with to smaller side stripes looks better and is what I plan on doing.

I placed my order today since I have been waiting for this for a while. As far as it looking small, well, ya, it does but that has been the same design for a long time now. I will retro-fit it to work with my MMR intake kit and paint it to match my stripe design.

Ahhhhhhhhhh.....if it'd work with my C&L, I'd be ordering. Until then, just another dream.

I plan on attaching mine to the C&L. Firedragon posted this photochop showing me what it would look like (original link= http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?sh...ndpost&p=458747 ). I should have it done this weekend.

I'm interested in this as well. Would it be possible to use the C&L intake tube with the stock airbox?

What would be the point of that??? That would defeat the purpose of the C&L, wouldn't it?

Huh? That would not defeat the purpose depending on how you set it up. I have the MMR intake kit. I am trying to figure out a way to get the air filter to fit into the factory airbox and still use the MMR high flow pipe and MAF sensor housing. That would be perfect. Cold air from the Shaker passing through the MMR intake. A dream come true, well, if I can get my idea to work

I just looked at that post. It is pointless unless you block all sides so only air from the shaker is going into the air filter.

What I meant was, the tube itself is proven to add some power w/o the conicle filter. So, if you had to revert back to using the airbox (because of the shaker) instead of the high flow filter, would it work to use the C&L intake tube?

I think it would, don't really want to try it though.

There....that's what I meant.

I think it looks a bit small too. I got a black gt so I want some chrome or billet sticking out of my hood and I want it to be bigger...

I guess I gotta keep waiting...or come up with something on my own.

The shaker is too small of an island on that vast expanse of hood...
