Not bad, but I like SilverHorse's better for it's fitment around the taillights and the decklid badge.

Hmm, I do too.

I'm wondering what the panel would look like with the addition of a running pony badge staggered to the right side of the panel... Just a little something to add ornamentation without that fake gas cap.

too plain, CDC rushed that part to market for sure.

SilverHorse Racing on the other hand took their time and produced a much better part.

THE FIT AND FINISH OF THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT, DONT KNOW WHY YOU GUYS THINK IT LOOKS SO BAD. I ACTUALLY HATE THE SILVER HORSE RACING ONE. IT JUST DOENTS MATCH TO ME. IT'S GRAY TOO, WHY GRAY AND NOT BLACK. AND THE HONEY COMB JUST LOOKS STUPID ON THE BACK TO ME. I DONT KNOW, FOR SOME REASON I LOVE THE CDC ONE.

In the upper right and left corners, you can see where the CDC piece doesn't fit well against the taillights. You can see silver paint between the trim panel and taillight.

Exhibit A

The SilverHorse piece, however, has a point on the top corners to match the shape of the taillight.

Exhibit B

I think with the GT badge it looks better, overall however it looks like a nice piece.

The SilverHorse looks great too.

I think I would rather paint instead. It's just another place for water to drip from when you’re trying to dry your car after washing it.

Either paint or vinyl...

It's a different effect with a sculpted panel than you'd get with paint or vinyl. These bring the area in between the lights out closer to being flush with them.

I don't know about the CDC but the Silverhorse is well designed for water drainage at the bottom, and since the area behind it is vertical, I don't picture it being a problem during washing.
