CDC pricing is out - ducktail: $295!
That's why I was saying something about it.
Even if they leave it off, if it has the indention where it is supposed to go, something will have to go there.
I, for one, would like to have the option of leaving it off.
I actually think it looks good, but I don't like it enough to put it on mine.

I personally don't like it at all. If I am going to spend money on an aftermarket duck tail, I want it to be part of the trunk, not just sitting on top like that, you can see a gap on the outside of the tail lights. I wouldn't mind spending more on a complete truck replacement with a duck tail.

For the first time in a long 3 weeks I'm glad my order hasn't been pulled.
I LOVE it!
I just called and left my salesman a message asking him to change mine to the spoiler delete. Hopefully he can get it done. That ducktail is beautiful, and me... I like the tri-bar emblem molded in. It makes it look more like it's an OEM spoiler rather than aftermarket!

OK, now I'm worried again. My dealer still tells me the DORA's not available yet. I'm going to start a new thread. Please look for it and advise me. I'm going to try to take and post a digital pic of what the dealer has given me. Thanks in advance.

believe me guys, i want a ducktail as bad as the rest of you, but this is rushed and sloppy. You're debating the indentation for the pony but you overlook the 1/4-1/2 inch gap created by this stick-on?Unfortunately holder, a trunk replacement would be beautiful, but the quarter panels would still need to be stuck on. They aren't true quarter panels, they're a single piece of metal from tail to front fender.

Maybe I am missing something, but I did not see a provision for the third brake light on the CDC ducktail...

In reply to Stangnut, even if the pony emblem does have an indentation, it can be filled, just as if the spoiler had to be removed, less than ideal sure, but its an option.
I also don't like how the ducktail seems to have a gap near the bottom and no third brake light, but so far CDC's is the best I've seen. Luckily i'm unlucky enough to not be able to afford a new mustang anyway, so hopefully when i can afford it things'll be fixed.

As far as the "pony indentation", YES it would be worth griping about IF CDC was offering this "Pre-Painted".
But since they are not, you could just have it filled proir to painting. A good bodyman/painter would not spend too much extra time doing so for you if this is what you desired.
Yes, the "stick-On" appearance is worth complaining about, but this "indentation" is easily fixable so stop all your whining !!
