I guess it's the paint driving up the price, but $379 still seems pretty steep for some headlights.

Yeah...I wish American Muscle would just sell them unpainted. They are probably jacking the price up too much for their paint work.

Yeah even $300 would sound more reasonable.

I've been watching this thread and I have to say that you really have a nice unique car.
I like what you have done with the retro styling cues.
The Agent47 mirrors would really complement the look you have going much more than the stockers.
The raxiom lights in black to match your paint would really accent the front in a good way to match the retro hood/scoop.

IMO, it's very tastefully done.

Thanks a lot. I Appreciate your comments. It's good to hear that the look isn't overboard because at times I worried I was doing too much. I really wanted a car that paid tribute to the late 60's Mach 1 and I hope that other people besides just 'Mustang lovers' will get what I was trying to accomplish. Thanks again for your comment.

And BTW the Raxiom lights and Agent 47 mirrors are on my to do list lol

Rear lip installed. Fitment was ok small gaps that had to be sealed with silicone here and there but a decent product

I'm wondering how that piece would fit my stock GT bumper that got hacked up because of the Roush rear valance. I wouldn't mind going back to my GT bumper, so that I can get stock exhaust exits again. The Roush valance requires you to cut the bumper at the exhaust exits, opening them up towards the center of the bumper. If the 3D Carbon piece would cover that up, that would be great. It is just a little expensive to purchase to not know if it will work or not.

I'm not sure man. I have an unpainted one in the garage, if you weren't so far north I'd let you test fit it.

So you put the whole 3D Carbon GT Styling kit on. I think that rear diffuser needs the side skirts to go along with the look. Keeping the factory side skirts would match the side lines of the car with that rear diffuser.

Yes it's the whole kit. The only major difference in the side skirts compared to factory is the back is a bit taller. Overall the biggest part of the kit is the front and rear diffuser

anyone thinking about a Boss429 scoop/thinking they are a little big- I agree... but try out a 69 cougar eliminator scoop- looks like the B9 but lower/wider, fits the car great. just forget the repops out there, they are pretty rough...I found a OEM one a couple years ago, the Ford parts are nice. the eliminator scoop was also used on a mercury comet- think they were around between 68~71
