Purchased a CDC non-shaker and having it painted. Here are a couple of pics. Having the center section painted a red pearl metallic....

Not installed yet. Hopefully this weekend. Will post pics in sunlight where I think the color will be more noticeable

Definitely looks better in the sun. Mind if I ask how much it cost you to get it painted? I'm assuming the rest of your car is black?

 

Great hood choice! Did you have the under side painted as well?

 

A brother of a friend of mine is painting it. He is doing a lot of work for me so I don't really have a solid number on cost.

Thanks guys! Yeah I have the red interior. I don't care much for it because the red leather is unforgiving and shows its age really bad. But overall I love the car.

I purchased the CDC hood this past fall, but it is waiting until the spring time to get painted. They are really nice hoods. I went to CDC and went through their stock to find a good hood with no issues. It's painted bright red right now and my car is Windveil blue, so it will be get getting painted both sides. I got quoted by a local custom shop to repaint it for just $275.

 

Hood installed. Just purchased the Cervini's M1 hood scoop to add to it. so hopefully have it installed in the next couple weeks.

Definitely post some pics. I have been considering that style of scoop, but my only reservation is needing to make it functional and blended into the hood as I do not care for non-functional/bolt-on scoops. Regardless, it should look good
