CDC Glass Roof installed on my 2008 GT/CS!*

I'm in Charlottesville, Virginia and the only certified dealer was in Chesapeake....3.5 hours away. So, I checked Maryland. A place named Automotive Essentials installed it. They were 2.5 hours away. I should have put this on last year. I love it. It's a little warmer but once the A/C is on, same as the regular hard top. It has a nice tint/shade to it. Cost was $2500 plus 6% Maryland sales tax.

One of the main reasons I wanted the Glass Roof when I was shopping for 10/11s...it's a panties-dropper!

It really looks great. What was the final cost installed, and how long did it take to install.

$2500.00 plus Maryland 6% state tax. I took the car in at noon on a Tuesday. They called me at 4:50 p.m. on Thursday saying I can pick it up any time the next day. 2.5 - 3 days is fast service. They had a nice shop. They originally told me a couple of days. I did have to call to order it and setup a time to come in. It took about a week to order it and have it shipped to them. Then 2.5 - 3 days to install it. They said they used to stock the glassback roofs but not any more because the installs have slowed down in the last year.

Thanks for the information. I live in Florida and they only have two places located in Florida. The one in Orlando is asking $2,999.00 just to order the glass roof. No mention of installation. I will check with Jacksonville on Saturday.

It looks great. This is something I may have to consider for my '08. Do you have any idea how much weight it added vs. the steel roof?

$2500.00 was the price which included parts and install labor. I did not ask what the breakdown of parts and labor.

Looks good but the resale of your car probably just went down the drain.
