CDC Ducktail install

Quick question, when you installed your CDC ducktail, did you drill the holes out for it or just attached it with doubleside tape...rather not put holes in my trunk if I dont have to, but I'm also afraid of the ducktail coming off in the car wash

basically have to put the holes in. THink of it this way though, noone will ever see them and it looks so good when its on, you will never want to take it off anyway.

It's a bit scary to drill holes in a new car, but it's definitely worth it.

+2 I got the one with the pony emblem and I love it. Looks a thousand times better than the stock spoiler. People always think it came from the factory this way.

Negatron. You'll have to have them filled in and get your trunk repainted. Or you can buy this from CDC http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...splay/653.html. Yet another option would be to buy plastics plugs and paint them using touch up paint. If you want it to look good though you'll have to get the holes fill and repaint it. It's all up to how picky you are.

Drill the holes, and wash your car by hand. Those are the correct answers, sir.

How do you prevent the drilled holes from rusting or leaking??

The ducktail kit from CDC comes with a corrosion resistant rust proofer. Just apply it.

Thanks. I was thinking of the Roush spoiler which requires holes to be drilled. I wonder if they give you that stuff as well
