CDC chin spoilers PAINTED TO MATCH YOUR CAR

Not sure if you guys have heard of them but http://www.atlantamustang.com/ now offers CDC chin spoiler painted to match you car. They've been selling prepainted parts for a while but they've only now started offering the Chin spoilers.

Timing is everything . Just bought the CDC chin spoiler 2 weeks ago and had a good body shop paint-match it for $200. (with extra clearcoat). Only peace of mind is, they gave me a lifetime warranty on the paint/finish. Atlanta Auto looks like a great price and saves you the hassle of finding a good paint shop. Man, that $85 shipping charge is a killer though...

I searched for weeks for a pre-painted CDC chin spoiler several months ago... Yes, timing is everything. Oh well, I'm happy with mine and actually save some money, but good to know.

Thanks. I only wish I had found it before I bought mine. Oh well I've grown to love the flat black since it matches my shaker.

$85 for shipping I thought they offer free shipping??

For anyone that hasn't used them, that's who I got my pre-painted 3DCarbon GT500 spoiler from. The paint matched exactly and was in perfect condition. If I too had known about this several weeks ago, I would have definately went this route instead of having one painted.

I was going to get the 3d FR500 spoiler from them but they won't ship to military members overseas. Sucks they can't make it to the post office. Oh well, there are other shops...

Just dont ask them about CDC louvers this is the respone I got, to bad I'm sure they would sell alot

No, we will not be offering CDC's louvers painted. The reason for this is that they are "open slotted" louvers. We do not sell open slotted louvers. They cause nothing but trouble for several reasons. One, trash and debris get inside of them and you can't clean them out. Another reason, when ever it rains or you wash the car, water will drip out wherever it drains from and if it is dirty inside, it will leave a dirty water trail down the side of your car. I, personally, have never heard anything good about open slotted louvers. For future reference, we will not be pre-painting any other lines of louvers or scoops. We have too much to paint as it is. Thanks for looking and let us know if you have any other questions.

Use 3M Dual-Loc velcro product ,and whola! your louvers can be popped off for cleaning/drying.

The only hitch is if some knucklehead tries to steal them, but they'd have to know to try first..

So how is $436 from them any worse than $225 + $50 for shipping from CDC and another $150 or more to a local body shop for paint?
