Looking to pick up a CDC chin spoiler, think it looks great. Before I do I was curious how it installs,is it easy? Is this something I can do myself, and finally do I need to drill any holes in my bumper, or does it just clip in some how?

thanx

It depends on which one. The agrressive one is a harder install. The Classic one just installs with clips and possibly (?) double stick tape. No drilling or anything with the Classic one for sure. I have it ordered but it will be a couple of weeks because I have to get it painted.

I'm sure some others with it already will chime in.

The install is very simple and takes about 10 mins.
It uses the existing screws(2 each side) from the inner fender by the tire and a couple of pop clips in existing holes in the bumper. No drilling required. Also 3M tape is used in the center.
You can do it!!!

i put mine up in about a minute and a half. Unscrew the lower 2 screws in each wheel well. put one side of the chin spoiler on and screw it in. peel a small amount of the 2 face tape down and let it hang. Move to other side of car and stretch the chin spoiler over and put those 2 screws in. Now peel the rest of the tape and push down so it makes contact with the existing plastic of your bumber. ALL DONE!

It takes longer to get the wheels off. Got ten minutes?
