Carbon fiber trim question
Those carbon fiber trim pieces have what looks like criss-cross threads. Is the actual surface smooth or does it have the texture of the threads? The reason I'm asking is that JLT (www.jlttruecoldair.com) has radiator cover extensions for the GT500 (I have a GT500 front clip), and if I got them I'd probably paint them satin black to match the factory center section cover. I'm not crazy about the carbon fiber look. I don't think anybody else sells those extension covers.

OK Thanks
Maybe I can do that. My middle name is becoming "The Matte Finish Guy". I would design an avatar, but it might not be visible since it would not reflect any light
