Can you fit an 05 GT grille on a 05 v6 mustang
I've been wanting to get fog lights for my mustang for some time now. I've looked on am and eBay and they can be pricey so I looked on Craigslist and found some gt grilles for cheap so my question is will it be possible to put the gt grille on my mustang. If anyone has done this please message me telling me how you did so. Thanks

If you search the forum and do some digging, I'm sure you can find all the info you need. But the short answer is...yes, it can fit. But no, it won't fit properly. It'll have a gap between the grill and the bumper that isn't supposed to be there.
You'd be better off buying a grill made for the V6 bumper, or buying a GT bumper along with it.

That's correct ! As the V-6 and GT grilles have different mounting point locations and are not interchangeable..
As I tried swapping out my GT grille for a friend's V6 grille just to see if it would fit because I was interested in getting the V6 pony package grille which has the smaller fogs however the mounting points would not line up with my GT front valance/bumper at all..
The only way to get around this without doing any serious modifications is also replace your V6 front valance with one from a GT..
Or you can just look into getting a V-6 pony package grille that already has fogs in it.. Which is made exclusively just for your V-6 Mustang..
