Can someone post some pics of the GT500 foglight assembly?
I need shots of the actual foglight, uninstalled. Front, side, top, bottom, and rear shots. Especially where the bulb goes in. Thanks in advance.
I think y'all will be happy with this experiment I'm running. lol

Experiment? Ok I'm curious. I don't have pics, but I do know they require the GT500 foglight wiring harness.

checking to see the amount of modification to make it adaptable for an HID system.
There are others out there that have HID bulbs in their Shelby fogs. I think JCTHORNE has them headlights and fogs. I'm pretty sure there is a thread about it.

Well I do have HID heads and fogs, but had to replace the GT500 fogs with Hella housings. The GT500 fog housings are very shallow and cheap plastic construction both lens and housing. The plastic will not hold up to the temperatures of an HID lamp or its light intensity even if you could get it to fit by modifying the mount in some way. They are truly wierd mounts, very non standard bulb and very low wattage.
We did try to mount an HID capsule in them but after some work decided that if we finished the project, they would not look good nor hold up very long. Was better to go with a different housing so went through a lengthy search to find an aftermarket housing that would fit without body modificaton, look right and hold up. Hella 1300 fogs

The Hellas have a horseshoe shaped bracket attached facing upward. It can be removed and reattached to face rearward. The bracket must be drilled to match the holes in the GT500 fascia where the oem fogs mount. They can then be bolted up using fender nuts. The Hella lights use a standard H3 bulb that I installed a H3 HID conversion kit in. Housings are metal and the lenses are glass. They fit and look great. Color temp will still be slightly different between the fogs and your headlights as the factory headlight lenses are slightly tinted. Its pretty close though. I used 4300K HID capsules in both locations.
