Sorry for not showing pictures, The car is still in the shop! I'll try and take a few pictures tommarow,I'm still working on modifing the side window scoops, they will look alot like the 67 shelby side window scoops. Keanen is suppost to ship my rear bumper on Monday. We're waiting for the rear bumper to come, incase we have to do any molding before paint. I'll take some pictures tomarrow of in progress shots, then when we finish it I'll take some more... The paint job is going to be a custom one, so my painter does'nt want to paint it untill the body is just right. If the rear bumper gets to us on Tuesday, he'll be painting it on Tuesday or wednesday the latest. Wish me luck! One of the pictures I'll show tomarrow will be of the Mural I airbrushed under the hood, also of window scoops and spoiler in primer before paint, It should give you a little idea of what we're doing.

I'm not teasing you , Keanen has'nt sent me my rear cover yet! he had a problem with the final fit and had to work on it over the week end he told me he should have it done by thursday, so I'm still in limbo, I really thought I would have pictures up by now, considering I was suppost to have the rear cover no later than Monday, So I'm not to happy right now, I also wanted it to be finished for the fun ford weekend event @ bristol this weekend! but you see it's not! We don't like much finishing the car,But we just need the rear cover.... to make shure we don't need have to modify it. The side window scoops are just about ready for primer, see we put the 67 shelby look to them, I wanted this car to be different. I will post the pictures by Fri,It's that they will probley of the 05 in primer....And of the mural under the hood.

Yes, I'll be back at the shop on Fri, Sat. the latest and I'll get pictures of it then. I'm a little flustrated to say the least, But I know when it's done it will be worth it in the end! All I know is that I have missed alot of shows because of not having my complete kit....... To say the least of the sponsors that was interesed in this project, But O well I'm not going to cry over spilled milk! we're going to finish the car and if any sponsor wants to be a part they can and if not, I'll still have a sharpe car. I've had my car since Oct 29th 2004. and it only has a little over 4,000 miles on it. I just want to be able to atleast enjoy it on weekends..... Again sorry TO ALL for no pictures!

Hi Nick, I'm trying to finally finish the outside of the car. I've cut out my window scoops to give it the 67 Shelby window scoop look, I've been patiently waiting on Keanen to finish my rear bumper, As you know I've been waiting on the rest of my kit since April! we've molded in the side scoops, window scoops, and the three piece spoiler to give it the look as though they came from the factory that way, it gives it the smooth look. Since the last time I sent you pictures, I have Airbrushed a mural under the hood. Right now the hood is in the paint booth, waiting for the final clear coats, I already have the side exhost on the car,But the covers are off of the car too, When we get finished this time It will have a show car paint job, That's if I ever get my rear bumper cover from Keanen. He's still working on it, trying to get the final part of the kit done. I'm going to post pictures of the car this weekend,of the car in primer and of the mural too. I'll probley send them to you to post for me, then when the car is finished I'll let you post those pictures too, If your still interested in doing it for me? I just want to finish my car so I can atleast drive it on weekends! I promiss that when it's done pictures will be shown, I want to see it done just like everybody else.......

Just to clear things up... you did say the spoiler put on your car fills the stock spoiler holes right? Also... is it a "ducktail" spoiler per say?

Can't wait to see the finished results.

yes, It does and yes it's a three piece spoiler , like 67 and 69 was. It reminds me of the cervinis in a way . But I talked to Keanen this morning and he said that his is'nt the same as cervinis. Mine is molded in everyone that comes to the shop thinks it's awsome. I'll be posting pictures of the primered spoiler and side scoops and my own custom window scoops. That me and my paint man did. Some may not like the spoiler, But I think it looks great on my car..... Oh yea, I talked to Keanen this morning and he said that my rear bumper will be finished to ship out no later than next Tuesday! so things are finally coming together and I can finish my BBR LNR 500E. except I'll still need to get some wheels for it. Just wish me luck! I will need it.

So you're actually having the ducktail blended in rather than just taped/screwed on?

Actually, the ducktail is already on the car and we're about finished with the molding in. We epoxied it to the car, let it dry and then we molded it to the car, there is no screws or tape holding this ducktail on. Keanen is doing two different versions, one is the molded on type and the other is a bolt on one. mine has the opening for the third light, just like the factory.

I'm not really too up on the body-mod stuff. How exactly do you go about "molding" the spoiler onto the car so that it's seamless?
