Buying new 18" wheels need to know what tire size to get

Pretty much explained in the title but I am buying 18" rims and dont know what will fit my 05 mustang v6 its stock with 225/60 16 so what should i get?

Visit American muscle.com you select your year model and they give you a bunch of rims that will fit and pictures of them.

This link will give you a good idea on what tire width will fit under the fenders without issues. Width of tire will depend on width of rim...

You can fit a 10" with around a 45mm offset, 9" with around 35mm. Tire size depends on wheel size. Those numbers are just averages, if you go to a good Mustang site like AM you won't have to worry.

If you need your speedo to stay calibrated, you need to stay close to the original tire diameter. The tire charts will help you choose..
