I have had my Redfire V6 premium for less than a week, almost 300 miles. It has the 16" premium V6 wheels of course.

before she arrived, I purchased a set of take-off 17" Bullitts for a great price on eBay knowing that these were the wheels I wanted on our V6.

Now that she has arrived, I'm not sure I want to part with the stock wheels, the have a real "classic" look to them, i have received many compliments on the wheels in particular. What I will do is put the Bullitts on and see but I would appreciate any opinions and photos from you guys to help me make my choice.

Iguess one option is to keep both sets and swap depending on mood??

Let me know.

Attached is a picture of our Redfire, after I installed a set of the Bullits and removed the rocker panel stripe. We have had many more compliments on the car with the Bullits applied, than when we had the stock 16's with the spinners. The Bullits are also so much easier to clean. They wipe off quicker because they don't have all the little angles and crevices you have to get the chamois into to wash and dry. Put the Bullits on, and I guarantee you will get more looks and compliments than you have gotten with the stock wheels. We have.

Bullits. They were simply made for that car...

If Elvis was alive, he would have Bullits on his Cadillac.

I vote Bullitts too. This styles seems a perfect match for the classic lines of the 05.

OK, Bullitts went on this evening.

Wife's not sure, we actually really liked the premium V6 wheels. They are very classy looking so it's classy vs. classic-aggressive.

Too dark for good photos right now plus car need a bath. I plan on some pics next weekend, back to work for now.

Thanks for the unanamous opinions though.....

Bullitts aren't so bad. Anyway they're an improvement over the bling-bling ricer wheels I've seen a few stangers put on their rides. Of course thats just my personal opinion. :P

I would not either, that's why I bought OEM bullitts & Pirellis, less that $700 to my door, brand new take-offs....No bling.

I say bullitts all the way. You said that the stock V6 wjeels look "classic", but Bullitt wheels are just as "classic" and have been around longer.

As far as the comment about not spending the money on aftermarket wheels that you can get factory... you can't get bullitt wheels on a factory V6. If he likes the bullitt wheels and obviously could not get them on the V6, there's nothing wrong with getting aftermarket bullitts. The creator of this thread asked for opinions on helping him make a choice, not telling him he shouldn't have even bought the wheels. Keep that kinda stuff to yourself.
