My latest little modification -- bullet center caps for my Bullet wheels.[attachmentid=45497]

I decided I wanted to do something different with the center caps so I removed the stock Ford blue oval ones and replaced them with chrome bullets from Wirth's Custom Auto. They are die cast zinc , 2.5" in diameter at the base so they fit perfectly in the bullet wheels. They attach with a screw in the back. All I did was make up some retainers that fit through the back of the wheel that the screw goes though to hold the cap on. I think they really compliment the style of wheel and look much better than the stock caps. They cost $5.50 each...

I wasn't really impressed with Ford first factory center cap with the blue oval either. KC at Clevenger Ford has several cap selections that I have looked at that just snap in like the stock caps, the black Ford Tri Bar Pony, Black SVT, & a Silver Ford Cap with GT in the center. I liked them all, the black Ford GT center cap would have worked best, but the black GT letters needed to be larger.

I ended up putting a set of Carroll Shelby Center Caps on my stock 17" bullets and removed the blue ovals... If you decide on Tribars, I've got a brand new set of four still in the factory package.
