BROKEN SPOILER GETS COSTLY
Well I cracked my 3rd aggressive front chin spoiler (my fault not theirs I just forget how low and long the nose is). So I decided to order a different spoiler just to spice things up a bit. I go with the Cervinis b2 spoiler. When I receive it, I discover that unlike the cdc unit. it needs to be painted.
So off to the paint shop I go. Then I get to thinking, as long as I'm here why not add some stripes. Say 11" stripes with 1 1/2 inches between and just for the heck of it some 1/4 inch stripes right outside of each. Next thing I know the painter tells me that he really would like to re-do the black over the areas to be striped as they aren't up to the standards that he likes. When I go to pick it up the difference between the factory paint job and this thing is ridiculous. Now I've had the whole **** thing repainted, wet sanded and 8 layers of clear. I had him add just a tiny bit of meta-flake to the black. The stripes are tungsten gray metallic.
Picks can't possibly show how deep the paint looks. Hot stuff. Ultimately a pretty expensive paint chin spoiler, but a nice look.
