BRACE YOURSELF! The New Bullitt Strut Bar is Here!
Here is the First Bullitt Strut Bar out of the Ford Parts Pipeline. Just Arrived Today!
Notice How it Is Narrower and Has Beefier Brackets when Compared to The Original Brace. It should Fit any 05-08 Gt Sans Engine Cover No Prob. Now here is What I am Hoping. That it will also clear all of the Following or at least Some of these.
V6 TBD
GT with Factory Engine Cover TBD
GT-500 TBD
I will test Soon on the Gt-500. Our First Bullitt Will be Arriving this Week and I will Check the Fit on the Bullitt with a Tape to see how much Clearance we Have. Wish I had an Original BLACK Frpp to Check against. We can Only Hope it is a bit more Forgiving than the First Brace. Retail on this Unit Came way down from Initial Pricing and FORD MSRP is $174.55 and a Generous TMS Discount Does Apply when Purchased From me. Intially Ford wanted Like $295.00 for this SILVER Beauty Thank Goodness That Did not Last. Current TMS Pricing Makes this a Better Alternative to the CURRENT FRPP Bar! Way Cool!
Enjoy!

More Pics! I would Love a Pic Just Like Number One with the Old Black FRPP Brace. That Will Really Show the Clearance Difference.

We Have a Shelby GT Up Front and Check how Little Clearance Vs BULLITT Brace! I think we Have a Winner Folks! Whoo Hoo! Now Why Did Ford Not Use the Engine Cover on the Bullitt! Should have Been Part of the Package! Any How Now the Question is How the Bar Will Treat the Non Bullitt Hood Pads! Still we will Need to Physically Check for Fit on Cars But it Looks Good!

The GT-500 is a No Fit. The Bullitt Bar Sets Way Back. The Problem with the 500 is the Throttle Body is In The Way. I am Very optimistic on the V6 and The GT with Engine Cover though.

Do you have anything around with a Roushcharger you can check the clearance? Wondering if the throttle body will be an issue with it also or since it has the 4.6 maybe the TB will be a little lower.
If you don't have a Roushcharger around I could test fit one for you. If it fits that would be a sell.

Kevin also said that there is no Bullitt logo on them. I figured they wouldn't since it isn't being put on an actual Bullitt.
Also, I will post some pictures after it is installed.

I may be wrong but I suspect think its not gonna fit... When I owned my V6 I tried installing both a GMS and BMR GT strut tower brace on my car. Neither would clear the intake plenum without some serious modifications. I ended up buying a BMR V6 strut tower brace which they routed forward over the throttle body.
Oh and the BMR V6 strut tower brace would NOT fit in conjunction with the Midwest plenum cover. I tried once to figure out how to get both to fit. The only way I could find would be to chop off the piece of the cover that fit over the throttle body.

This unit is a NO-GO on the V6, I just talked to a Ford tech and it will not clear the intake. Use the FPP unit designed for the 05-08 V6 Mustang 2005-2008 MUSTANG V6 STRUT BRACE
