Bolt pattern is 4 1/2".......Number of lugs for the wheel would be 5
Hence the numbers of 4 1/2" x 5 holes in the wheel
( 4 1/2" x 5 )

how does the offset relate to the wheel though? can you use a 30mm offset on a car that originally had a 45mm offset? is it similar to how you can use a 255 tire on a 8 inch wheel when it comes with a 245? Im just a little unsure of how much of an impact this offset has on the proper fit of a wheel

Just found this from a post back in August that talks about the offsets of the 04 and 05 wheels. Subject : If the 04 wheel would fit the new 05 Mustang, in relationship to how far it will stick out of the wheel well.

I don't think spacers will work, because the offest is different going the other way. The '05 has a larger offset than the '04, so putting '04 wheels on an '05 would make them stick out too far and hit the wheel wells. So, spacers would make it even worse. As far as I know (heard this by others in a different thread) the '05 has the same bolt pattern: 5-114mm, or 5x4.5". And the '05 offset is 45mm. I believe the '04 is something like 30mm.

is the bolt pattern still standard? I thought it was all metric now? I know that my Expedition is 5 X 135mm

that makes it 5.314961 inches...

I see a lot of wheels only up to 42 off set. Which way does that move the wheel inward or outward? I'm thinking outward.
