A couple of weeks ago I found out my local dealer had a black GT vert with A/T, Bullitt wheels, IUP, ICAP. Just what my wife wants only not in black. We stopped by to see it anyway so she could sit, start it, take the top down, the regular routine. It looked great.

Today I stop by, it has 20" chrome wheels at an additional $3K . It looked like a raised 4 x 4, it was hidious. The Bullitt wheels went to a V6 and it was marked up as well.

I am in disbelief on how some dealers are raping the Mustang.

i'm feelin ya man...that's so stupid & ridiculous...they shoudn't put on big ugly bling rims, the person who buys it (i mean idiot) can chose the 22" rims to ruin it on their own..if a normal person want the stock rims (most people), then that's what hey should get, not a 3k markup 4 something they don't want.

The rotors looked awful and small. That gap doesn't show well at all.

It is pretty ugly what some people do to their Mustangs. I'm of the school of thought that Mustangs should be kept largely stock. I'm not against adding a better spoiler (aka ducktail, although it isn't a spoiler) and a few custom accessories such a a billet gas door . But things like fiber hoods, and the like I never did get.

Maybe I am getting old, but I refuse to acknowledge the B____ - B____ word, and anything associated with it...

Leave it stock or leave it alone.

I've never been one to leave my cars stock, however, I think 20 and 22" rims are just not a good idea on a mustang. A guy I work with just picked up a 2005 Dodge Ram SR-10 pickup with 22" rims. I can't picture a rim that size on a mustang.

I don't have to worry about seeing too many cars with 22s in P-A.

The potholes weed those guys out. REAL fast.

Hey wait a minute, I do that now! Oh man, I think I'd better trade the Mach 1 in for a Buick.

Whoa - better ease into that Buick. They tend to have a laxative effect...

I started with a Pontiac.

Pontiac eh? Imagine the scandal if I showed up with....dare I say it....a GTO! My TMS career would be over! Maybe I'll stick with the Mach 1 after all.

I am truly young at heart at the tender age of 38 but I have no taste for the hip hop culture. Not my thing. Car rims that are above 18" look silly to me, and those spinners :notnice: Just my opinion here guys and gals.
A person is free to spend their money the way they want.

A young police recruit in one of our recent training classes put his hand up in response to a question and said to the instructor "Sarg, that's bling".

I used to be responsible for training and asked the Sgt. what he did. Said he yelled at the recruit, told him to speak english.

I'd of grabbed him by one of his earrings, dragged him outa the building and rubbed his nose into the chrome face of one of those stupid looking, hip hop spinners - telling him "No junior, that's bling".
