OK, thanks for the info. I'll stop by a couple of shops today, and if the result is the same I'll just replace them and Ebay the black ones...thanks.

Hey sweet! Going to deposit my Xmas loot and then I'll be ordering me some. Any mounting issues between the V6 car and GT rockers?

Is that for the pair or each? $200 for the rockers + $20 shipping is still cheaper than buying them and then having them painted, or just having my black ones painted...

Also looks like they charge $20 per rocker for shipping...that's not cool. Maybe I'll keep looking.

Hmm, not sure as I have not ordered! Call them and check! The only thing I was not sure of was how "high gloss" the black color would look compared to a flat black. My guess is, you wont notice it that close to the ground.

I'm doing the opposite. I have black now, going to Grabber Orange. I think with the orange being closer to the ground it will appear to lower the car...

Chad,
There isn't any difference between the rockers (other than texture and paint) so swapping them out is no problem.

Yes, it should give the car the appearance of being lower. When I painted the lower rear lip on mine it looked like there was more clearance underneath the car when you looked at it from the back.

BTW, what size tires are you running? They look like they were made for a 99-04 instead of an 05.

Just got back from the body shop and they said no can do on getting mine painted GO due to the texture. I'll look into the take off's in a bit. Also, the tires are 255/45ZR18. Lot's of people think they are small but I think most of it is just the way the pic turned out. I'll snap another pic later at a different angle and different lighting.

Oh. OK. I thought that might be it.
I just saw a set of GO take offs on eBay, but it also included the GT front bumper so shipping would probably be pretty high.

Another place to check is http://www.diversifiedmktg.com/
They're the ones who always have all the take-off parts on eBay. They buy them from places like Saleen so they are true take-offs. If they don't have anything on ebay right now, just call them.

EDIT:
I just checked their eBay store. $90 per pair + $30 s/h.

Thanks for the Ebay link...I don't see U3 GO listed as an available color, but I did email them to make sure. Hopefully they have them as that's a pretty smokin' deal. Thanks again.

I don't know the cost of shipping but V6mustang stuff has them for 69.99 pair. Don't know if GO is available either.

Yep. It was just the angle.
Give both those places a call. I'm sure one them either has, or will eventually have, a set of GO rockers.
And hey, you never know, if you put an ad in the for sale section you might be able to find someone to swap with you.

Just an FYI post...about a year ago I was able to purchase a set of Black rockers from a company call Diversified Marketing..something or other. They advertised on Ebay and sold 05 up Mustang take off items. Paid 50.00 for the pair. I purchased a grill and bumper cover for a friend's GT that had been damaged at work, paid 135.00 for that assembly. Everything was shipped and arrived within 5 days. Their phone number is 800-995-4003. Hope this helps!

That's the company I posted the link to. I bought 3 GT grilles from them for a great price.

I was trying to make an OEM style GT grille that didn't have the foglights or the pony. (see "My Attempt" link in sig)

Has anyone tried a few sheets of sand paper and a couple of flat black rattle cans? How much can that cost?

Grabber 07 - Adding colored rocker panels make the Mustang look fatter through the mid section. As a case in point, look at the old 67-69 Camaros, Chevy used a black rocker panel to give them that coke bottle shape when looked at from the side.

I plan to black out my lower rocker panels on my '07 GT vert. when it ever gets here.

I painted my Jeep's fender flares with Krylon Fusion and they turned out great. If you have a v6 and want body color take offs or new from ford seems like your only option.
