Nice!!

Here's 20" Axis Ordens in black on the 2005 Mustang...

And here's the new 20" Axis GT-R (the ones we saw on the Mustang GR-R concept) which are now available...

Those are way too narrow. Especially with them having a deep lip. They need to be 2" wider. Those wheels in 18x10's would look nice.

I like the chrome ones on the black GT but the car needs to be dropped. The looks of the car right now is silly.

I really think 20's are looking like the right size. But that definitely needs dropped to make it look right.

Good question, the site doesn't say, but it looks like its definitely around the 2-3 inch mark!

I like the lowered stance as well.
I talked with Air Ride Systems yesterday to check on the status of their 05 Mustang system. Said it'll probably be around Spring of 06' before we see one. That's what I'm going for!!!

John, I agree the black one needs to be dropped, but not a lot. I think the other two are too low... The wells need to be filled, but I dont like the way it looks when they OVERLAP the tire/rim.

I think the Black GT is a perfect example of how 20"s can look good on the 05.

BTW, MC2 is the same company who did the machined 8 spoke one offs on the 3D Boy Racer. I am defintely losing my taste for chrome...

I'd say the yellow one is dropped 1.5" using the eiback Pro kit because it has the same stance as mine, and the second one is dropped 2" using the Eibach sport kit.

Besides looking phenomenal, and they do, what other advantages, if any, come with having 20" ???
In the thread on mods it says not to go over 19" and larger wheels mean worse performance. Any Thoughts....?

Another option might be 22" rather than the drop.
Those black Orden's also come in a 22" package as well!

Looks is the main advantage of going larger than the "performance" limit...

Quite the opposite. Unless forged, they are heavier which hurts acceleration and have a smaller sidewall which hurts ride comfort. But, they look good.
