Yeah, it could use a slight drop on mine.
Back more than front... front seems alright...

Even the way it is though, looks pretty good...

Sorry man,

They do not have these on their site (infact their site is pretty crap ... and they SHOULD update it)

If you go on ebay you can look for AFS black chrome
and you'll see tonnes of pics of the different black chrome options they have, but you'll probably have to phone them to get info right away... email takes about a day or 2 for response.

Noticed on the AFS Ebay store...the correct offset for the 05+.

$1295.00 with Nexen tires, which I have heard very good things about. They are only 255 wide.

AfBlue... were those pre 05 deep dish black bullits?

Cause I know they make them in the 99-04 offset but they said they didn't for the 05

yes, EvilCapri got the tires as a set with the nexens, and I remember him saying they were pretty good.

I didn't see a set of the 05 deep dish. Maybe AFBlue did.

I did some research on other forums to see if people had any long term experience with the Nexen tires. Saw nothing but good remarks about grip, road noise, and wear.

Oh yeah! I have been following those wheels for a very long time. Just wanted to wait and see what everyone thought of the quality.

Tech's problem scares me off a little bit. Though, I noticed they did send him new rims.

What do you think of the quality after a couple weeks of driving on them?

Quality is good

I didn't have any chrome run on the front in anyplace visible... (some along the back of the spoke, so its no biggie.

The rims were packaged in cardboard and had a 'diaper' over the front of the wheel to protect the finish

I DO have however, and everyone I talked to said the same thing....
.... the occasional bump (like a piece of dust in clearcoat or something)
Of course I was seeing them up close and inspecting them with a fine tooth comb..
And the same thing was said "its not a 500 dollar rim, so it's not going to be ultra perfect"
That is true...

And unless you are RIGHT up close to the wheel after it's mounted and balanced... you will NOT notice it.

Don't let me scare you, but I just figured the rim would be perfect.
Even my ford rims (03 Cobra wheels) had imperfections....nothing huge, and no one knows they are there... except you.

Very easy to clean though.... I use a cotton cloth and carwash soap/water and then dry them with another cotton towel... SHINY

OH... and when I had them balanced/mounted... they required VERY little weight.
Maybe 0.25g here... 0.50g there
Jamie said he was kinda shocked at the ammount of weights that were need to balance that size rim, with that size rubber.... he was expecting way more.

Since getting my 05 I have been checking out possible wheels. IMO these look great! I may have missed it in the thread - do the stock center caps fit. I'm thinking they would

Those were black chrome for sure...
but whether they were for 05-07 or pre05 is another question...

I see a bunch of 18x10 and 10.5 for black chromes for 04s but none for 05
same thing with painted black and regular chrome...

Really wish they would have 18x10s in black chrome...
and they NEVER update their web page either!
