Hey all,
I just got my billet fuel door today, finally. Was wondering how much of a pain it would be to install. Looks like they may have to drill into the car to install it.

Thoughts????

You shouldn't have to do any drilling... Mine was fairly simple to install (no drilling required)... Had to remove the factory gas door and two rubber door stops... Mine justed bolted into those 4 locations. It was a little hard to get your fingers/wrench into to tighten the nuts but overall the installation was easy. Took about 15-20 minutes...

I agree. The whole install took maybe 15 minutes. Here are some photos of mine (from Bruno, painted by Hireman). The hardest part in getting a small 3/8" wrench in the small space to tighten the nuts.

Order from: www.autoaccessory4u.com

This is the only place that I have seen that has them and I have been looking all over. They have more than a few different finishes.

Order quick, I had to wait for mine to come in. So they just got a fresh shipment.

Cost was $79.95
Shipping to NJ- $7.99
Total: $87.94

Thanks guys....

I purchased mine from a company called AutoAnything... You can reach them on their website at http://www.autoanything.com/ or by telephone at 1-800-874-8888. The cost was approximately $110.00... They come in several finishes: brushed, polished or chrome... Mine is chrome....

And we have ours available too, made here in the USA, and much better build quality, made for the long haul. We use stainless hardware, cadmium plated magnets, and machine it from a true solid billet, not bent plates.

You can see them on our website, www.SilverHorseRacing.com

Thanks!

I'd go with the more subtle black myself. Unless you've got gobs of other chrome or polished aluminum - then it might fit in better..

All I know is I wish we didn't have to stock so many flavors to take care of all the cars out there! It's be so easy if we just had one style, one color...

Brushed, Black Anodize, and polished now too. I guess I should actually show them on the website. Not even mentioning the different engraving available...and as soon as they are ready (actually are machined different to work properly) we'll start stocking chrome plated too, although I think the polished looks good enough on most rides.

This place is starting to look like a warehouse or something!

What do you guys think of the black anodized on a Black Stang? Too subtle?
